Paysage culturel Bassari is part of the Tentative list of Guinea in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
The Bassari cultural landscape represents the distinct way of life of the Bassari people. They live in villages aimed at defense, built on mountain ridges or hidden among the rocks, with the huts close together. Their specific agricultural and social practices, rituals and beliefs have survived until today.
